Fill the 6am call-off in minutes, not calls
Arca ranks everyone who can take it and offers the shift to all of them at once. The first to claim it closes the gap — your own staff, at your rate, without a phone call.
Every shift spends money. Arca shows you the cost before you commit it, so your labor line is a decision, not a discovery.

Flagged the moment you assign, while the hours are still a decision — not in next month’s variance report.
Live PPD and HPPD per unit, per day, every change logged and reversible — the staffing half of your Five-Star rating.
Who works there and what they cost. Who's covering Thursday. What the day's PPD came to. The things Arca does, and what each one saves you.
Rate, licenses, dates and CMS job code on one profile, built from the file you already have. Get the rates right once, and every number Arca shows you is right.

No more calling down the list. Arca finds the gap, ranks who can cover it, and asks them all in one message. Nothing moves until you send it, or a worker says yes.

HHS ASPE, from 2021 SNF Medicare Cost ReportsIt reads your whole operation. Your rotations and shifts, what people are paid, your attendance data, what a week actually cost. It is there to help you decide, not just to move shifts.
It never invents a number. Coverage, PPD and cost are calculated from your own data — the same answer every time you ask.

|---|---|---|---|
| Keep the rotation you already run | Send the PDF or spreadsheet. It comes back as a live schedule. | Already yours — and still only in one person’s head. | Rebuilt for you, in an implementation project. |
| Fill the 6am call-off without a phone tree | Everyone eligible, ranked by who actually shows up, hours and overtime in view. | You start dialling at the top of the list. | One blast to everybody, then wait. |
| Know your PPD before the surveyor does | Live per unit, per day, against today’s census. | Rebuilt by hand, a month behind. | A separate module, and a separate line on the invoice. |
| Prove every change — and take it back | Every action logged with a name and a time, and reversible. | Version history, if someone kept it. | Logged, in a report you request from IT. |
| Be running this week, not next quarter | First schedule published inside a day. | Running today. That is the whole problem. | Weeks of setup before anyone logs in. |
| Pay for one building, not a contract | $20–$89 per location, per month. | Free. The agency invoice is not. | An annual contract, signed before you can try it. |

Arca runs the schedule for your building. It holds your master rotation, builds the weekly schedule from it, and keeps track of who is actually covering what.
The part people notice first is the 6am call-off. Instead of working down a phone list, you see everyone who can take the shift, cheapest first — and your own staff can claim it from their phones before you make a call.
It also keeps PPD and HPPD against your census in front of you, so the number you get asked about at survey is not a surprise.
The spreadsheet or paper master schedule, the group text, and the phone tree your DON works through every time someone calls off.
It does not replace payroll or your EHR — it sits alongside them. Arca decides who works when; payroll still prices it.
Most buildings are running the same day. You upload your master schedule, staffing targets and roster in whatever format they are already in — a spreadsheet, a PDF, even a photo of the board on the wall — and Arca reads them and builds the facility for you to check.
You can do the whole thing yourself. If you would rather not, ask and our team will sit with you and get it set up.
At $20–$89 per location per month, a 100-bed facility is paying between 0.7 and 2.9 cents per resident day.
One 12-hour agency RN shift you avoid is worth about $306 at 2021 national rates — somewhere between six months and a year of Arca, depending on the plan.
The calculator above runs it on your rates instead of a national average.
Hours are tracked the way PBJ counts them — per employee, per job code, per day, against census — so the numbers are already in the right shape when it is time to report.
It is worth getting right: six measures behind your Five-Star staffing rating are derived from PBJ — three nurse staffing levels and three staff turnover measures.
Shifts that run past midnight are split across both calendar days, which is where most hand-built PBJ counts go wrong.
To be straight with you: there is no one-click quarterly export yet. Today you are pulling the numbers out of Arca, not having Arca file them for you.
CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System Technical Users’ GuideIt changes a published week when a person says yes, and not before. Every finding arrives as what is wrong plus what would fix it, and you either apply it or send the worker a message and wait for their answer.
You can tell it to take the first worker who replies yes to a cover request, and that is the one place a change lands without you pressing anything — it lands because the worker agreed, to a request you sent. A move to a different day always needs that worker to accept it first.
Every one of those changes is recorded against whoever asked for it, and every one can be reverted.
Yes. Every change to a shift — created, assigned, moved, called off, undone — is logged with who did it and when, and any of it can be reverted.
So if a Tuesday looks wrong, you can open it up and see the shifts behind the number and every change made to them.
No, and nothing has to change on day one. Arca changes what you call the agency for — not whether you can.
The number worth watching is agency hours as a share of your total hours. Most facilities go back to the table at renewal, once they have three months of that trending down.
Yes. Nothing about the schedule depends on it. Your DON keeps assigning exactly as they do today, and the schedule is right whether or not a single worker ever opens the app.
What you give up is the part that saves the phone calls — staff seeing open shifts and picking them up themselves. That side is deliberately tiny: see your schedule, claim a shift. There is not much to adopt.
It is yours. Schedules, roster, hours and the full history — ask at any point, including after you cancel, and we will get it to you.
Everything sits under one organization and narrows from there. A facility administrator sees their facility. A scheduler sees the departments they run. A worker sees their own schedule and the open shifts they are qualified for, and nothing else.
Every change to a shift carries the name of whoever made it. Nothing is edited quietly.
